James Rohrbach oversees the overall operations and client relations for Cobble Hill Management, leading a culture of excellence to achieve best-in-class results for our clients. He joined Cobble Hill Management in 2024 after spending the previous 4 years as an owner client of the firm.
James is a successful serial entrepreneur across several industries, having been the CEO, founder, or on the founding team of six prior ventures, with multiple successful exits. Most recently he co-founded a real estate investment and asset management firm that hired Cobble Hill Management to manage over $200 million of New York City multi-family properties. Based on that success he decided to join Cobble Hill Management itself.
James began his career in the San Francisco office of McKinsey & Company, where he was on the founding team of the online services practice. He is a graduate Cum Laude of Yale University. Outside of the office he is an endurance athlete and Trustee to several arts organizations.
